1. Agreement to Purchase

By placing an order with DirectHomePlans.com, you agree to the purchase terms presented at checkout and the applicable Terms & Conditions, Licensing Information, and Refund Policy. Review your selections carefully before completing payment.

2. Plan Packages & Order Details

Your order includes only the house plan package, foundation option, file format, printed sets, and additional services shown in your order confirmation. Renderings, photographs, and sample images are illustrative and may show optional features not included in the purchased drawings.

It is your responsibility to review the plan specifications, dimensions, included sheets, and selected options before purchasing.

3. Delivery & Access

Digital house plans are delivered or made available electronically according to the fulfillment details shown at checkout or in your order confirmation. Printed sets and custom add-on services may require additional processing and delivery time.

Please contact us if an order is incomplete, inaccessible, or contains the wrong files so we can review and address the issue.

4. License to Build

Buying house plans grants a limited right to use the drawings under the license included with your purchase; it does not transfer ownership of the design or its copyright. Unless your order expressly includes additional construction rights, the proposed standard license permits construction of one home at one building site.

Plans may be shared with your builder and relevant project professionals only as needed for your authorized project. Reproducing, reselling, publishing, or using the plans for additional builds requires separate written authorization. See our Licensing Information for full details.

5. Local Codes, Permits & Professional Review

House plans may need changes to satisfy local building codes, zoning rules, energy requirements, engineering standards, site conditions, or permitting procedures. Approval by any local authority is not guaranteed.

The purchaser and their construction professionals are responsible for confirming site suitability, obtaining permits, checking applicable requirements, and arranging any site-specific engineering, professional seals, or other documents required by the jurisdiction. These services are included only if expressly listed in the order.

6. Modifications & Additional Services

Changes such as reversed plans, wall-framing conversions, material takeoff lists, and extra printed sets are separate services or products unless expressly included in your selected package. Pricing, scope, and delivery details are those presented when the order is placed.

Any modification requested after purchase may require a separate quotation or order. Material takeoffs are estimates and should be verified by the purchaser, builder, or supplier before materials are ordered.

7. Cancellations, Refunds & Order Problems

Eligibility for cancellations or refunds is governed by our published Refund Policy and any applicable law. Digital delivery and custom work may affect refund eligibility.

If you believe you received an incorrect item, have trouble accessing your plans, or encounter another order issue, please contact us with your order number so we can investigate.

8. Construction Responsibility

DirectHomePlans.com supplies the purchased design documents and any expressly ordered services. The purchaser is responsible for retaining qualified construction professionals and for construction means, methods, safety, field measurements, material selections, and coordination with local officials.
